Shipping Cost
To minimise shipping cost we pack our starterkit in a package that can be shipped as an envelope. This keeps our shipping cost low (Europe: €10,00). On our blog there is a post about how this looks like. Visit our blog and look for MakerBeam in a box 2 (September 25, 2012).
The envelope box will fit a kit and a few extra items (one hex nut driver and a package of bearings for example). The price of shipping goes up when we need to pack more items (bigger box) and/or need to ship more weight (>2kg). Look under 'shipping tube' for other prices.
Notice that we can never ship our 900mm beams in an envelope (or the storage box for example). Due to its length a 900mm beam will be shipped in a shipping tube or special box (visit our blog). Notice that shipping cost will be higher. Prices for shipment can vary between 15,00 to 25,00 euro. This depends on the country of destination. There is more information below.
